Welcome

Hello, my name is Marlena Sauceda and this is my attempt to share a part of who I really am with the world. I am 19, a journalism student at Arizona State, and it is my life’s ambition to write about the music industry for Rolling Stone. Writing has always been a way for me to make sense of my emotions, but I recently decided to experiment with other forms of art. And now I’ve decided to put my work out there, to open up to the world and to expose a portion of the most private part of myself: my mind.

This is a collection of my poetry and my art. This is the birth of Marlena.
